MASTERCLASSES - COURSES - DUET DAYS
Masterclasses and 1,2,3 & 4 day Courses can be individualised to suit the occasion. Music Societies, Schools, Universities and other organisations are invited to consider Masterclass sessions or a Duet Day followed by a recital in the evening.

Cambridge pianists and duettists, Anne and Geoffrey are founders/tutors of the popular Piano Duet and Two Piano course at Benslow Music Trust (begun in 1997) and at various other venues,including Bretton Hall, Rossall School, Shrewsbury School, Wells Cathedral School and the RSAMD.
Courses give opportunity to share or discover an enthusiasm, exchange ideas, receive tuition in a masterclass or individual duet/two piano situation or just observe and relax. The emphasis is on enjoyment, enthusiasm and fun as well as serious study.
Pre-formed duos and individuals are welcome to come, bringing a piece of their own choice and a movement from a list of set works. New ideas and repertoire are introduced, with performance examples, encouraging
discussion and exchange of ideas.

Courses in 2009: 27-29 March at Shrewsbury; 10-12 July at Wells Cathedral School
Duet Days are proving popular. They give a taster of the enjoyment of a longer course. With a maximum of 5 duos, participants bring pieces of their own choice, at their own level, and have 2 sessions of tuition during the day. A 'Pot Luck' lunch makes for a sociable, fun aspect too!
