RECITALS

Recitals open the treasure chest of music for four hands on one piano (and on two pianos where these are available).

Anne and Geoffrey bring a fresh and exciting interpretation to standard repertoire, favourite pieces, less familiar works and those in lighter mood.

Discovering new repertoire from archive as well as composers’ own arrangements/transcriptions for four hands of their own compositions (or those of other established composers) for other ensembles is a particular interest.

Anne and Geoffrey have given the UK premiere of most of the piano duets by John Carmichael - who has also composed music specially for them -  and a set of pieces in jazz idiom specially for them by Brian Chapple in 2006.

A different experience. Programmes can be............
